Saskatchewan’s natural beauty and clean air make camping in a Provincial Park a refreshing experience.  With a multitude of campgrounds to choose from, escaping the crowds and finding your own sanctuary is easy.  Camping in a Saskatchewan Provincial Park can be tailor-made to suit your interests.  Choose a full service campsite or electric or non-electric sites, most with access to a service centre.  Or, if a quieter, more authentic getaway is what you’re looking for, head for a spot in the backcountry for a more secluded trip.

Saskatchewan’s 34 Provincial Parks and Recreation Sites offer a wide range of camping experiences to choose from.  All of our primary campgrounds offer service centres with free bathroom and shower facilities, and most offer laundry facilities and playground areas.  Fresh drinking water, fire pits, fire wood and picnic tables are available at all Provincial Parks.  For more information on planning your perfect vacation to a Saskatchewan Provincial Park, or to choose your park, visit our Find a Park section on the site.

The majority of campsites in Saskatchewan Provincial Parks are ‘electric with service centre’; these sites offer 15-amp electrical service (with upgrading to 30 amp well underway) with near access to a service centre with washroom and shower facilities.  ‘Non-electric with service centre’ sites offer the same access to a service centre, but do not offer electricity.  These sites are often more readily available then electric sites and offer significant cost savings.

In addition, a few parks offer full service sites with electrical, water, and sewer hookup.  The few full service sites that are available are only available at Cypress Hills, Duck Mountain, Meadow Lake, and Moose Mountain Provincial Parks.  Cypress Hills also offers electrical/water sites.

All parks also offer limited service sites have varying washroom facilities, no electricity, and are not located near a service centre.  Most of these sites are considered overflow.
