Find A Park Moose Mountain Provincial Park![]() Fresh air, blue skies and bacon crackling in the skillet as the morning sun drives the shadows out of Fish Creek Campground. Wrap your hands around that warm cup of coffee, take a deep breath and savour the feeling of waking up to nature instead of work. Moose Mountain Provincial Park has been a popular getaway for more than 70 years – it’s one of Saskatchewan’s original provincial parks. Today’s visitors can enjoy a stay as rustic or refined as they wish. Pitch a tent in a cozy nook, park the camper trailer in a lovely, level spot, slip that big RV unit into a fully-serviced site or rent a cabin or hotel room right inside the park. Potable water, clean washrooms and a hot morning shower are always close at hand. Firewood is, too. Bask in that warm golden glow of the evening campfire and ponder the important things, like alternate ingredients for s’mores. ![]() CampingMoose Mountain is a Reserve-a-Site park. The Reserve-a-Site program opens January 1, 2009, for reserving sites on or after Thursday, May 14, 2009. Click here for more information on the Reserve-a-Site program, or to access the online form (the online reservation form will be available as of January 1, 2009). Fall camping with power, water, service centres and complimentary firewood is available through October 31. Call (306) 577-2600 for details. Moose Mountain, a refreshing experience, is an island of birch and ash nestled in the southeast corner of the province. You may be surprised by just how well-treed the campground is. Combine this with level sites, and easy access to service centres, firewood and more, and you may never want to go home. In addition to being a great summer destination, Moose Mountain offers wonderful fall camping opportunities. You’ll be swept away as the leaves change colours, and sun continues to shine bright. There are two campgrounds with campsites:
Group CampingGroup Camping Area A: This, the larger of the two group camping areas, is located near the Kenosee Lake Riding Academy. Book the whole area for your school group, family reunion or next ‘get together’. Campers must stop in at the Fishcreek Campground office and pick up a camping permit. These are all non-electric sites, with no power available. Picnic tables, a wood pile, pit toilets and barbecue stands are on site. Group Camp Area B: This group camping area is located just west of Fishcreek Campground just before the turn-off to the church camps. It will hold up to 15 camping units and there are picnic tables, a wood pile, pit toilets and a campfire area. For more information on Group camping, contact the park office at (306) 577-2600 or (306) 577-2611 (summer only). All bookings of group camping sites require a non-refundable reservation fee. Seasonal: Seasonal camping is available at Fishcreek Campground. If you’d rather just leave your camping unit here for the summer, why not consider a seasonal campsite? Specific sites are designated “Seasonal” and campers are chosen by a lottery draw for sites near the end of April. Sites are available from the May long weekend until the end of September. For more information on Seasonal Camping, please contact the campground office at (306) 577-2600. Seasonal CampingMoose Mountain offers seasonal camping spots (please note that Site 268 is not a seasonal site as indicated on the map at the bottom of this page). Seasonal camping is complete for this year. Information on 2009 seasonal camping will be posted on the Seasonal Camping page in the New Year. To be placed on our mailing list and have the application forms for the 2009 season sent to you when they are available, please call the park office at (306) 577-2600 or email us at MooseMountain@gov.sk.ca.
