Youth Leadership Saskatchewan Youth Project Awards (SYPA)The Saskatchewan Youth Project Awards (SYPA) are monetary awards from $500 to $5,000 given to young people, aged 14-29, who are leading projects in their communities. Ideas for projects are limitless but, in the past, have included the creation of a beach volleyball court, a youth documentary project and a youth centre. SYPA is the result of a recommendation from the Provincial Youth Advisory Committee (PYAC) and is funded through the Centennial Legacy Trust Fund from the province's 2005 Centennial. Award distribution will occur over three funding years beginning in 2006 and ceasing in 2008. The program is no longer accepting applications. |
