Find A Park The Battlefords Provincial Park![]() The Battlefords Provincial Park is your destination for a camping experience with a difference. Immerse yourself in nature, enjoying the slow pace of a day at the beach or on the water. Play a round of golf, hike a trail or take in a planned activity. Or, make The Battlefords Provincial Park your home base while exploring the historic and recreational activities in and around the park. Visit one of the National Historic Parks in the area or head into North Battleford for a museum tour or a visit to the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy yourself knowing you can end your day with your feet up by the campfire while you watch stars slowly take over the evening sky. Wake up your senses in The Battlefords Provincial Park! CampingThe Battlefords is a Reserve-a-Site park. The Reserve-a-Site program opens January 1, 2009, for reserving sites on or after Thursday, May 14, 2009. Click here for more information on the Reserve-a-Site program, or to access the online form (the online reservation form will be available as of January 1, 2009). Select a cozy and secluded tenting site in the Centre Campground or slip the RV into one of the spacious sites in the North Campground. Staging a group gathering or family reunion? There are five group campgrounds situated throughout the park and a neat picnic pavilion near the main beach. All campers have free access to service centres with hot showers, modern facilities and electrical outlets - the store at the beach offers concessions and fast food. Or maybe you'd prefer to stay at the lodge, which features a licensed dining room, lounge and rooms overlooking the golf course and Jackfish Lake. There are three major campgrounds with 317 campsites:
Group CampingThe Lakeview Group Campground: Electrical Group Campground the can accommodate 15-20 camping units. Located within walking distance of the core area of the park. Willow Group Campground: Electrical group campground that can accommodate 10-15 camping units. Located in South Campground adjacent to the Recreation Hall. Aspen Group Campground: Non-electric group campground that can accommodate 10-15 units. Located in South Campground. Maple Group Campground: Non-electric group campground that can accommodate 15-20 units. Located in South Campground. North Group Campground: Non-electric group campground that accommodates 10 units. Located within walking distance of the core area of the park. Seasonal CampingThe Battlefords offers seasonal camping spots. Seasonal camping is complete for this year. Information on 2009 seasonal camping will be posted on the Seasonal Camping page in the New Year. Thank you for your interest in the seasonal camping program. In-Park Services![]() The Recreation Hall: Our spacious hall has everything you need to host your next gathering. There are tables and chairs for 70 inside and picnic tables outside for extra seating. The hall includes a couple of 32-cup coffee urns, a refridgerator, stove and sink (no dishes provided) and a large barbecue, designed for briquettes or wood, on the patio at the back of the hall. The indoor bathrooms feature flush toilets. Rental rate is $10/hour ($40 minimum charge) or $100/day and a deposit is required. Jackfish Lodge Golf & Convention Centre: 58-room hotel accommodation, convention centre, licensed dining room and restaurant facilities features an 18-hole, grass-green golf course and driving range. The 2009 Reserve-a-Site program will begin accepting reservations at 12:00:01 a.m. on January 1, 2009. With a multitude of campgrounds to choose from, escaping the crowds and finding your own sanctuary is easy.
